Polyps in the colon, 26 years old – would there be a high incidence of colon cancer very late in life?

My father had polyps colon, was tested for cancer – fortunately negative. I am not a doctor, but I can share my experiences. Some years ago I started noted that there was blood in my stool, and all tests were negative. So I had a colonostopy (Spelling?) 5 years ago and returned with a certificate of good health. If you are worried talk to your doctor, and he'll tell you what to do. Take care and I hope that after all your worrying done, you have a bill in good health.
